June 2009 Grading Results |

 The June 20009 grading results have been posted. It was a very big grading, with lots of new, up-and-coming youngsters. We're looking forward to them moving up in their grades as they all get older. |

March 2009 Grading Results |
|
|
 The results for both the Junior and Senior gradings are now updated on the 2009 Gradings page. We have two new black belts, Senpai John Pegios and Senpai Alexander Yussof. Congratulations to both of them as well as all the others who graded on the day. Photos will be posted later. |

The results of the Junior Grading, held on March 2nd, have been posted in the Gradings section. Congratulations to all candidates. Keep an eye out for the results of the Senior grading coming up on the 15th. |

March 2nd - Junior Grading |
|

 The Junior Grading will be just for the under 12 year olds. All adults will have to go to the senior grading in a couple of weeks time. Check with your instructor to see if you're eligible to grade. |

End of Year Dinner and Awards |
|
|
|
Don't forget the End of Year Dinner and Awards night is coming up. We've got 77 people coming (as of 3rd Dec) and there's an absolute limit of 80 people. This should be an enjoyable evening. The dinner will be on Friday, 12th December at La Parrillada, in Petersham, on Parramatta Rd. I'm looking forward to it. Newtown students - remember there will be no senior kids, nor adults, class on that day!

Last Grading for the year!! |

 The results for the last grading of the year are out! It's the largest Sydney grading we've had since 2003! It's gratifying to see so many people qualifying for their gradings, and we hope that we'll be seeing their names progressing through the grades over the next few years! |

 We've uploaded a couple of new videos. Neither is very good quality, but until we get better, this is what we've got. One is by Ben Sullivan, and it's a video of Sensei Shah doing board breaks at the Newtown Festival. The other is of the Freestyle Bo kata devised by John Pegios and Senpai Ben Osland, from Newtown dojo. |
