 Congratulations to John, Robbie, and Matthew on their September grading. In particular, to John Le, who achieved his Shodan Ho grade a year after his younger brother, Tony. John completed the full 40 man kumite on the day - a great effort! OSU! |

A new dojo - in Victoria |

 We have a new dojo in the organisation. This time it's in Altona North, Victoria! It's run by Senpai Marcel Saunders, an Australian who's been living in the UK and was graded to Shodan by Hanshi himself. Next time you're traveling in his vicinity, be sure to drop by for a training session. His details are on the Locations page. When he gets his website up, there will be more details there and it will be announced here. |

2102 Interclub Round 2 Results |

|
The 2nd Round of the IFKKA Interclub tournaments took place on the 17th of June, at Tempe dojo. It was attended by 47 participants - not as good a turnout as the last one, but still very good! It was a good opportunity for a number of first time participants to compete in a comfortable environment, and it gave a number of our young and upcoming senior grades the opportunity to start learning how to officiate in Clicker kumite. June Grading Results |

The results of the June Junior grading are now available on the 2012 Gradings page. This combines the results of the gradings held in both Tempe and Petersham dojos. Once again, we had a LOT of people grading, and this is very encouraging for the growth of the IFKKA. Keep it going, all of you! |

Because of your success we managed to get the Perpetual Shield back from last year's winners - Kempo Ryu. The Shield can be viewed at Petersham (Kuro Obi) dojo, where it will be on display until next year's tournament. |
