Christmas and New Year Training hours |

 When Sensei Shah was in Canada this year, he was hoping to get some training in while visiting a friend in Ottawa. The dojo he could have visited was closed for the summer - the WHOLE summer! We're of course a bit more dedicated than that, but we won't be training for a brief period over Christmas and New Year. We need to take a break once in a while, after all. End of Year Dinner and Awards |
|

Don't forget the End of Year Dinner and Awards night is coming up. We've got 77 people coming (as of 3rd Dec) and there's an absolute limit of 80 people. This should be an enjoyable evening. The dinner will be on Friday, 12th December at La Parrillada, in Petersham, on Parramatta Rd. I'm looking forward to it. Newtown students - remember there will be no senior kids, nor adults, class on that day!

Last Grading for the year!! |

 The results for the last grading of the year are out! It's the largest Sydney grading we've had since 2003! It's gratifying to see so many people qualifying for their gradings, and we hope that we'll be seeing their names progressing through the grades over the next few years! |

 We've uploaded a couple of new videos. Neither is very good quality, but until we get better, this is what we've got. New video - AMAC 2007 State Final Colts |

 Yet another new video has been uploaded. This time it's a Colts (16-17yrs) full contact fight at the 2007 AMAC State Final. Featuring our Alexander Yussof and Kempo Ryu Karate's Michael Schönbas, it's an action packed fight which is well worth watching. It shows what you CAN aspire to relatively early in your Kyokushin training, if you so desire. |

 The AMAC State Finals are on the 26th of October. Get your application forms NOW. This time, there's a team event too - and we're going to try to win this - there's a $500 prize, and this can go towards our fundraising, as we're still a bit behind. |

Grading Certificate Dinner |

Don't forget that we have the Grading Certificate Dinner happening this weekend, at the Hanoi Quan restaurant on Illawarra Road, Marrickville. This is to present the certificates to, and celebrate, the candidates who recently graded, including of course the new green and brown belts. The results are on the 2008 Gradings Page |
