Sensei Shah was nominated as the Best Official for NSW at the 2005 NAS Nationals on the Gold Coast last year. This makes it the second time he's been awarded the honour. The previous time was at the 2002 Nationals in Melbourne. Shihan Doug has also been awarded the title twice, in 1999 and 2000.
